The health of the Duke of Parma and Piacenza is critical

The health of HRH the Duke of Parma and Piacenza, Prince Carlos Hugo of Bourbon-Parma, is critical.

The official statement:

MENSAJE S.A.R. D. CARLOS HUGO

Quiero decir a los Carlistas que mi estado de salud no es bueno. Estoy totalmente en las manos de Dios, rodeado de mi familia y de mis fieles. Lo único que os pido es serenidad y que sigáis adelante con nuestro proyecto de libertades, expresión moderna de nuestros antiguos fueros. Confío mucho en vuestras oraciones y en vuestro cariño.

Os pido seguir al lado de mis hermanas María Teresa, Cecilia y María de las Nieves, y de mis hijos Carlos Javier, futuro Jefe de la Dinastía, Jaime, Margarita y Carolina.

The Prince was previously married to HRH Princess Irene of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau, Princess of Lippe-Biesterfeld, and they have 4 children.

HRH Prince Carlos of Bourbon-Parma, Prince of Piacenza, Duke of Madrid, who is married to Annemarie Gualthérie van Weezel. (The religious wedding is to take place on August 28, 2010, but the civil wedding took place on June 12, 2010. Prince Carlos has an illegitimate, not acknowledged son with Gitte Klynstra named Carlos.


HRH Princess Margarita of Bourbon-Parma, Countess of Colorno, who is married to Tjalling ten Cate. They have 1 daughter, Julia. Princess Margarita was previously married to Edwin de Roy van Zuydewijn.
