The Duke and Duchess of Parma are expecting their second child.

Death of the Landgraf of Hessen

HRH the Landgraf of Hessen, Prince Moritz, died on 23 May 2013.

The Prince was formerly married to HSH Princess Tatjana of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. The couple had 2 daughters and 2 sons before divorcing in 1974.

HH Princess Mafalda married first (divorced) Enrico dei Conti Marone Cinzano, second Carlo Galdo (divorced, 2 children, Tatiana and Polissena) and married thirdly (divorced) Ferdinando dei Conti Brachetti-Peretti. (2 children, Cosmo and Briano)

HRH the Landgraf of Hessen, Prince Heinrich Donatus, is married to HRH Princess Floria-Franziska, née Countess of Faber-Castell. They have 3 children, twins, HH Princess Paulina and HRH Hereditary Prince Mortiz; and HH Prince August. The Landgraf is the new head of the family.

HH Princess Elena is unmarried, but has a daughter, Madeleine, with Massimo Caiazzo.

HH Prince Philip is married to HH Princess Laetitia, née Laetitia Bechtolf. They have 2 children, HH Princess Elena and HH Prince Tito.

Announcement of events to mark the 60th anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth of the UK

The British Royal Court announced events to mark the 60th anniversary of HM Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom of Great-Britain and Northern Ireland’s Coronation in June 2013.

The anniversary will be marked with a service of celebration at Westminster Abbey. HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, and other Members of the Royal Family will attend a Service to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Coronation Service on Tuesday 4 June at 11am. . In addition to the main service, Westminster Abbey is also hosting a series of special events to celebrate the anniversary. Death of Count Christian of Rosenborg

HE Count Christian of Rosenborg died on 21 May 2013. The Count was born HRH Prince Christian of Denmark, but gave his title and style up to marry Countess Anne of Rosenborg, née Anne Maltoft-Nielsen. They have 3 children, Countess Josephine [married to Thomas Schmidt with 2 children, Christian and Dorte], Countess Camilla [married to Mikael Rosanes with 4 children, Caroline, Mikael, Ingolf and Emanuel] and Countess Feodora [married first to Eric Patte (divorced) and second to Morten Rønnow with 1 child, Margrethe..

Count Christian was born on 22 October 1942 as the youngest child of TRH Hereditary Prince Knud and Hereditary Princess Caroline-Mathilde of Denmark. Hereditary Princess Caroline-Mathilde was born a Princess of Denmark herself. His older siblings are HH Princess Elisabeth of Denmark and HE Count Ingolf of Rosenborg. Hereditary Prince Knud was first-in-line to the Danish Throne, until the change in the constitution allowing the current Queen Margrethe to become the Queen of Denmark.

Swedish Royal family receives Swedish National Ice Hockey Team Tre Kronor

TM King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia of Sweden; TRH Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, the Duchess and Duke of Västergötland, with their daughter, HRH Princess Estelle of Sweden, the Duchess of Östergötland‎; and HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden, the Duke of Värmland; received the Swedish National Ice Hockey Team Tre Kronor on 20 may 2013, to congratulate them for winning the Gold Medal in the World Championship.

Confirmation of Prince Nikolai of Denmark.

The confirmation of HH Prince Nikolai of Denmark, the oldest child of HRH Prince Joachim of Denmark and his former wife, HE Countess Alexandra of Frederiksborg, took place today, 18 May 2013, at Fredensborg Palace Chapel.

Wedding M&C: Cortège route

HRH Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland, and Christopher O'Neill will be taken by horse and carriage from the Royal Palace of Stockholm to Riddarholmen.

The cortège will travel past the Outer Courtyard and along Slottsbacken, Skeppsbron, Strömbron, Strömgatan, Norrbro, Slottskajen, Myntgatan and Wrangelska Backen to Evert Taubes Terrass on Riddarholmen.

From Evert Taubes Terrass, the bride and groom and their invited guests will travel by boat to Drottningholm Palace for dinner.

The Swedish Armed Forces will parade along the route of the cortège and on arrival at Drottningholm.

The Swedish Royal Court has announced that Christopher O'Neill will not receive the titles (HRH) Prince of Sweden and/or Duke of Gastrikland and Hälsingland, as he will continue his work after the wedding and will not receive Swedish Nationality. According to the Royal Court, Christopher O'Neill requested this himself.

Wedding M&C: Official biography of Christopher O'Neill

Mr Christopher O'Neill was born on 27 June 1974 in London, where he grew up with his parents, Eva Maria and Paul O'Neill. He has dual US and UK citizenship, and has five half-sisters: Tatjana, Natascha, Stephanie, Annalisa and Karen.

His father, Paul O'Neill, moved to London from New York in the 1960s to set up the European head office of Oppenheimer & Co, a New York-based investment bank. Paul O'Neill died in December 2004. His mother, Eva Maria O'Neill, is involved in a number of charities, with a particular focus on the cultural preservation of Salzburg, Austria.

Mr Christopher O'Neill and Princess Madeleine live in New York.

Education and work
While growing up in London, Mr Christopher O'Neill attended Eaton House School and then Westminster Under School. In 1988 he began his studies at the Institut auf dem Rosenberg international high school in St. Gallen, Switzerland, graduating with a high school diploma in 1992.

Mr Christopher O'Neill began his undergraduate studies at Boston University that same year. Alongside his studies, he also worked for various financial firms on a part-time basis to develop work experience and to gain a practical understanding of the financial industry. In 1996, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and a Minor in Business Administration. After his studies, Mr Christopher O'Neill returned to the UK. Here, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of NM Rothschild & Sons, before moving to an early stage venture capital firm, VennWorks LLP. At VennWorks, Mr O'Neill was responsible for the financial analysis of potential investments and for marketing the fund to institutional investors in Europe and the Middle East. As a result, he spent much of his time in Europe, the UAE and Kuwait.
After completing six years of post-graduate work experience, Mr Christopher O'Neill attended the two-year, full-time MBA programme at Columbia Business School in New York. Since graduating from Columbia in 2005 with an MBA degree, Mr O'Neill has worked as a securities analyst for both Steinberg Asset Management and Noster Capital. He has also invested in other entrepreneurial ventures.

Interests
Since his childhood, Mr Christopher O'Neill has had a strong interest in sports and outdoor activities, such as downhill skiing, tennis and golf. His other interests include music, literature, Chelsea Football Club and spending time with his family and close friends.

Engagement and marriage 
The engagement between Princess Madeleine and Mr Christopher O'Neill was announced on Thursday 25 October 2012. The wedding will take place on 8 June 2013 in the Royal Chapel at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

Prince Jaime of Bourbon-Two Sicilies created Duke of Capua

HRH the Duke of Calabria, Infante Carlos of Spain, Prince of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, has created his oldest grandson, HRH Prince Jaime of Bourbon-Two Sicilies as the Duke of Capua.

Prince Jaime is a Knight Grand Cross of Justice of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George.

Prince Jaime is the oldest child of TRH the Duke and Duchess of Noto, Prince Pedro and Princess Sofia of Bourbon-Two Sicilies. The Prince was born in 1993, almost 8 years before the wedding of his parents, as their non-dynastic union was not approved until then. He has 3 younger brothers, HRH Prince Juan, HRH Prince Pablo en HRH Prince Pedro, and 2 younger sisters, HRH Princess Sofia and HRH Princess Blanca, all born after the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Noto. The Duchess is a granddaughter of the Duke of San Fernando de Quiroga. The marriage was later approved as a dynastic marriage and the children of the Duke and Duchess of Noto have the title of Prince(ss) of Bourbon-Two Sicilies with the style of Royal Highness.

The announcement:
HRH the Infante Don Carlos, Duke of Calabria, Head of the Royal House of the Two Sicilies, has been pleased to confer the title of Duke of Capua (Duca di Capua) on his eldest grandson, HRH Prince Don Jaime of the Two Sicilies, in a decree dated 6 May 2013.

Prince Taufa'ahau Manumataongo is second-in-line to the Throne of Tonga.

The Moroccan Royal Court released a new picture of HRH Crown Prince Moulay Hassan of Morocco, as well as a new picture of the Crown Prince with his parents, HM King Mohammed and HRH Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco, to celebrate his 10th birthday on 8 May 2013.

The Crown Prince has a younger sister, HRH Princess Lalla Khadija of Morocco.

The Bridal couple has requested that those wishing to give them a gift, would consider donating to the Foundation MinStoraDag or the World Childhood Foundation.
