The Dutch Royal Family participated in a photo opportunity in Lech, Austria, on February 17, 2014. Present were TM King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands with HRH the Princess of Orange, HRH Princess Alexia and HRH Princess Ariane of the Netherlands; HRH Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands; TRH Prince Constantijn and Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands with Countess Eloise, Count Claus-Casimir and Countess Eleonore of Orange-Nassau, and HRH Princess Mabel of Orange-Nassau with Countess Luana and Countess Zaria of Orange-Nassau.

Funeral of Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau scheduled for 16 August

The funeral of HRH Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau will take place on the afternoon of Friday 16 August in Lage Vuursche, in the municipality of Baarn. It will be a private ceremony. After a service in the Stulpkerk in Lage Vuursche the Prince will be laid to rest in the adjacent cemetery. The service will be officiated by Reverend C.A. ter Linden. A memorial service for Prince Friso will be held later in the year.

The engagement of Prince Jaime of Bourbon-Parma and Viktória Cservenyák was announced today. The couple will marry on 5 October 2013 at the kerk van Onze Lieve Vrouwe ten Hemelopneming in Apeldoorn.

Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau leaves Wellington Hospital and is moved to Palace Huis ten Bosch

HRH Prince Friso of Orange-Nassau was discharged from the Wellington Hospital (London) today.

Prince Friso remains in a state of minimal consciousness. While his health situation continues to be of concern, the Prince no longer needs hospital care. Over the coming months, all available options to provide him with the required long-term care and nursing - in the Netherlands or the United Kingdom - will be evaluated in consultation with experts.

Prince Friso will spend this summer with his family at Palace Huis ten Bosch in The Hague, where a medical team - led by Prof. Jan van Gijn and Dr. Michael Kuiper - will be entrusted with his care. He arrived there today.

The Royal family wholeheartedly thanks the medical team of the Wellington hospital for their excellent and devoted care.

It's a boy for Prince Floris and Princess Aimée of Orange-Nassau

TH Prince Floris and Princess Aimée of Orange-Nassau, van Vollenhoven, had their third child and first son, Willem Jan Johannes Pieter Floris van Vollenhoven, on 1 July 2013.

Prince Floris and Princess Aimée also have 2 daughters, Magali and Eline.
