HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway celebrated her 40th birthday on 19 August 2013. The birthday of the Crown Princess was celebrated with a religious service in the park of the Royal Palace in Oslo on 18 August.

Occasion of the 40th birthday of HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway (today), the Norwegian Royal Court released a new official photo of the Crown Prince and his wife, HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit, their children, HRH Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magus, and the son the Crown Princess, Marius. They also released a picture of the Crown Prince and his son, Prince Sverre Magnus.
