Count Carl Johan Bernadotte of Wisborg died

Count Carl Johan Bernadotte of Wisborg died on 5 May 2012. Count Carl Johan was born as HRH Prince Carl Johan of Sweden, Duke of Dalarna, the youngest of 5 children and the 4th son of HM King Gustav VI, then HRH Crown Prince Gustav Adolf and his wife, née HRH Princess Margaret of Connaught, a granddaughter of the British Queen Victoria..

A statement from TM King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia of Sweden:
"Count Carl Johan Bernadotte was a dear and beloved family member who did much for the whole family with his kindness and humor. We will remember Carl Johan as an respected and lovable relative, who we have always valued highly, not the least by his knowledge he so generously shared with others on our families history. "
