HRH Princess Madeleine of Sweden, Duchess of Hälsingland and Gästrikland, and Christopher O'Neill became parents of their first child, a girl, on February 20, 2014, at 10:41 pm local time. (New York City)
The name of the girl and a possible title will be announced by HM King Carl Gustav of Sweden at a meeting of the Cabinet. The date of this meeting has not been announced.
Christopher O'Neill will meet with media at noon local time at the New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center.
A Te Deum thanksgiving service will be held on 2 March 2014 at 14.00 o'clock at the Royal Chapel.
