HM King Carl Gustav of Sweden celebrated his 40th anniversary as King of Sweden on 15 September 2013. King Carl Gustav became the King of Sweden upon the death of his grandfather, HM King Gustaf Adolf of Sweden.
13 September 2013:
Princess Christina, Mrs. Magnuson, opened the exhibition 40 years on the throne, 40 years serving Sweden in the Hall of State. TM King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia, TRH Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel, HRH Prince Carl Philip, and HRH Princess Madeleine attended the opening.
