Prince Jaime of Bourbon-Two Sicilies created Duke of Capua

HRH the Duke of Calabria, Infante Carlos of Spain, Prince of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, has created his oldest grandson, HRH Prince Jaime of Bourbon-Two Sicilies as the Duke of Capua.

Prince Jaime is a Knight Grand Cross of Justice of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George.

Prince Jaime is the oldest child of TRH the Duke and Duchess of Noto, Prince Pedro and Princess Sofia of Bourbon-Two Sicilies. The Prince was born in 1993, almost 8 years before the wedding of his parents, as their non-dynastic union was not approved until then. He has 3 younger brothers, HRH Prince Juan, HRH Prince Pablo en HRH Prince Pedro, and 2 younger sisters, HRH Princess Sofia and HRH Princess Blanca, all born after the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Noto. The Duchess is a granddaughter of the Duke of San Fernando de Quiroga. The marriage was later approved as a dynastic marriage and the children of the Duke and Duchess of Noto have the title of Prince(ss) of Bourbon-Two Sicilies with the style of Royal Highness.

HRH the Infante Don Carlos, Duke of Calabria, Head of the Royal House of the Two Sicilies, has been pleased to confer the title of Duke of Capua (Duca di Capua) on his eldest grandson, HRH Prince Don Jaime of the Two Sicilies, in a decree dated 6 May 2013.
