The civil wedding of HRH Prince Carlos of Bourbon-Parma, Prince of Piacenza, Duke of Madrid, and Annemarie Gualthérie van Weezel took place on June 12, 2010.
Prince Carlos is the heir of his father, HRH Prince Carlos Hugo of Bourbon-Parma, the Duke of Parma and the Duke of Piacenza, who is the head of the Ducal family of Bourbon-Parma. His mother is HRH Princess Irene of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau, Princess of Lippe-Biesterfeld, one of the sisters of the Dutch Queen.
The religious wedding will take place on August 28, 2010. The entire Dutch Royal family and other Royalty is expected to attend.
