HSH Hereditary Prince Carl Friedrich of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg died yesterday, April 24, 2010, at the age of 43. The Hereditary Prince participated in a racing game and crashed.
He leaves behind his wife, HSH Hereditary Princess Stephanie of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, Freiin of Brenken, and their four children, HSH Princess Augustina (1999), HSH Prince Nicodemus (Prince Nicodemus is now HSH the Hereditary Prince) (2001), HSH Prince Lawrence (2006) and HSH Princess Kiliana of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg (2008).
The Hereditary Prince entered with the name of Leo Löwenstein and drove an Ashton-Martin in the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring. The accident happened in the 22nd lap.
