Today, April 1, 2010, Nicholas Medforth-Mills celebrates his 25th birthday.
On December 30, 2007 his grandfater, H.M. King Michael of Romania declared that Nicholas would receive the title Prince of Romania with the style of Royal Highness on his 25th birthday.
(Unless King Michael would die before that date, in that case he would receive them immediately.)
Starting today, Nicholas is His Royal Highness, Prince Nicholas of Romania.
Prince Nicholas is the son of HRH Princess Elena of Romania and the late Robin Medforth-Mills. He has a sister, Elisabeta, and is 3rd in line to the headship of the Royal family of Romania, after his aunt, HRH Crown Princess Margarita of Romania, and his mother.
The celebration will take place in June 2010, because the Prince is currently studying in England.
